SimPilot Sponsorship

SimPilot is the Ab-Initio Course for Enthusiasts, designed to take you from zero experience to having a full understanding  of the operational techniques of the Airbus A320. Many competing courses call this a Virtual Type Rating, however this is not an accurate reflection of what we do.

For all purposes we are teaching you how to fly and operate the Airbus A320 in dual aircrew, airline environment.

SimPilot is available to those with a PPL, ATPL cadets, serious flight simmers and those currently studying Aviation Degrees that wish to have a thorough and complete understanding of the operational techniques to operating the Airbus A320 to the highest possible standard. We are proud to be able to offer a realistic flight training environment for enthusiasts who would not normally have access to this type of training or facility.

SimPilot is designed to be a professional-level entry course to the world of Aviation. We pride ourselves in professional delivery and instruction from the beginning.

About Sponsorship

From 2020, every year we will sponsor two candidates to complete their basic training with AlphaTech SimPilot. This will still be subject to the normal terms and conditions and the qualified SimPilot will be required to take up a subscription  for 12 months after training. These are extremely affordable. What do I need to apply for Sponsorship?

The application process is simple and involves a short application form that takes about 10-15 minutes to complete.
There are three stages.

Application > Selection Interview > Simulator Assessment

To be able to apply you must be aged over 16 years old and be able to accept the SimPilot Terms & Conditions.

Subscription

Two Subscription Schemes are available, the SimPilot may chose which suits him or her the best.
All prices include all fees and VAT. All prices per pilot.

Subscription allows us to keep the ongoing hourly cost of the simulator as low as possible to allow SimPilots to enjoy the current rates.

There are two options when you complete your basic training.

1. Standard Scheme £60 per month. No rollover of hours. (£30per hr paid in advance, 2 hrs per month)

SimPilot on a Standard Scheme will pay £60 per month (£30ph) and have two hour flying in the sim to use during that month.

2. Rollover Scheme £65 per month. 12 Month Rollover Cap. (£32.50per hr paid in advance, 2 hrs per month, can be rolled over, month to month for up to 12 months)

SimPilot on a Rollover Scheme will pay £65 per month (£30ph) and have the ability to use unused
hours into the next month and beyond up to a maximum of 12 months. You don’t have to use any hours during any calendar month, and as such you can, if wanted, not fly at all during the year period and use all your 24 accrued hours in month 12.

It is important to note that the ROLLOVER SCHEME is only available once all BASIC TRAINING HAS BEEN COMPLETED.
